REMC Streaming Video Project (RSVP)

- Lisa Marlatt and Sonja Sprague

The REMC Association of Michigan and Discovery Education are collaborating to provide Michigan educators access to over 100 full-length educational video titles through the REMC Streaming Video Project (RSVP) Collection. These titles, in the areas of health, mathematics, science and social studies, are aligned with the Michigan Curriculum Framework. The RSVP Collection also contains an extensive image library, clip art gallery, and other teacher resources designed to accompany the video content.
In 2009, the Comprehensive School Health Coordinators Association joined this collaboration. Through the efforts of the three collaborators the RSVP Collection grew to include the Michigan Model Curriculum videos titles which are available to Michigan Model Curriculum teachers.
RSVP Collection Access

•Those with a current Discovery Education subscription will find these titles within that larger video library.
•Those without a current Discovery Education subscription should contact their local REMC to obtain access.

The LISD served as the keeper of the videos, supplied duplicates of the video masters, organized the copyrights, purchasing and local training.

Prior to the REMC Streaming Video Project (RSVP), Lenawee CEMaT was the duplication center for the ITV/RDC videos.
