If I were to create a presentation;
1. We as a class have ready how people retain when they are engaged. Engaging is easier with audio, graphics, charts. A paper is just words on a page. This does not excite me at all. I have so many visuals of students being motivated while using technology that I fear the energy would be lost in a simple paper.
2. I feel presenting will give me the experience to come out of my shell. I have given many presentations, set up technology for many presentations, created many for others, but not at this level.
3. A large presentation as such would validate my research skills to others. A portfolio piece of sorts.
4. Finally I as the visual presentation is complete, I would publish it to a blog, youtube my website and let it go viral. The video presentation audio could be edited until I believe it is perfect. It can also have metatags for best search results.
If I were to publish a paper;
I have decided to change my initial thought since my phase three would be to entice public, educational and government channels to work as a team with the schools and community. Words said by my assistant superintendent today, "Video is the strongest form of documentation of achievement. I need to get in with the videographers at their level. this would be target audience research at its best.
If I were to publish a paper;
- 1. After doing studies, most broadcast directors would post a written response to a report instead of a video or presentation.
- My adudience isn't neccesarily educators, it's for videographers in education.

Wow, that's a powerful endorsement from the assistant superintendent. Good luck.
